PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly and removal of a vacuum system and make a device small-sized by arranging loop-shaped exciting coils above and below across a vacuum duct and installing an SOR light extracting pipe in the groove of an adiabatic container surrounding a collar. CONSTITUTION:A collar 1 supports exciting coils 2 above and below, the exciting coils 2 form a loop so that a current flows at the inside and the outside along a vacuum duct 3 and are arranged above and below across the vacuum duct 3. The vacuum duct 3 has a nearly fan shape at its horizontal cross section. A cryostat 6 surrounds the collar 1, and a groove 8 is formed. A deflecting magnet is constituted of the collar 1, the exciting coils 2, the cryostat 6, and leg sections 9. An SOR extracting pipe 4 connected to the vacuum duct 3 is arranged in the groove 8. An electron beam S advances through the vacuum duct 8 in the arrow direction, and the SOR light 5 is extracted from the pipe 4 in the outer direction of the vacuum duct 3. |
