Apparatus for mounting a light-emitting device (12) on a traffic cone (2), comprises a head portion (3) for housing the light-emitting device (12), a power source-receiving portion (4) in connectable or connected electrical contact with the head portion (3), and a traffic cone-receiving portion (5). The head portion (3) and the power source-receiving portion (4) are disposed laterally with respect to the traffic cone-receiving portion (5) such that when the apparatus is mounted on a cone (2) and a power source (6) is received in the power source-receiving portion (4), the head portion (3) and the power source-receiving portion (4) lie laterally alongside the section of the cone (2) received in the cone-receiving portion (5), and the centre of gravity of the apparatus is substantially coincident with the longitudinal axis of the cone (2). <IMAGE> |
