PURPOSE:To enhance fine processability and optical utilization efficiency of a photovoltaic device by a method wherein before a semiconductor film of one sheet adhered extending over first electrode films of the plural number is to be divided into every photoelectric conversion region, a second electrode film is laminated to be adhered thereon. CONSTITUTION:A transparently conductive film 11 is adhered as a first electrode film on the whole surface of a glass substrate 10, and the adjoining interval parts 11' are removed to separately form individual transparently conductive films 11a-11c.... An amorphous silicon film 12 of one sheet connected continuously is adhered on the whole surface of the substrate 10, and a back electrode film 13 is laminated thereon as a second electrode film. The back electrode film 13 and the amorphous film 12 are fused to be removed at the same time in the thickness direction thereof to expose a part of each transparently conductive film 11a-11c. At this case, the fused back electrode films 13a-13c... extend up to the exposing part 11b', 11c' of the transparently conductive films. To check a short between the transparently conductive film 11b and the back electrode film 13b, the edge part 13b'' of the back electrode film 13b fused once and positioning in the neighborhood of the adjoining interval part is removed. |
