PURPOSE:To enable easily replacing the motor without detaching the installation as a whole from the ceiling by providing supporting rails inside the housing, a motor-holding metal part supported by the supporting rails, and a motor for driving a fan supported by the motor-holding metal part and by forming an inspection hole in one side of the housing. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 set in a ceiling of a building is formed in the shape of a square box, composed of a top panel 2, rear panel 3, left side panel 4, right side panel 5, underside panel 6, and front panel. A heat exchanger 7 is placed inside the housing 1. A fan casing 9 is attached to the rear panel 3. A pair of supporting rails 10 are fixed to the top panel 2 in such a manner as to extend substantially horizontally. An inspection hole 11 is formed in the left side panel 4 and at the position where the extension lines from the supporting rails 10 fall. When the motor 23 is replaced because of malfunction or the like, a motor-holding metal part 19 is drawn through and nearer to the inspection hole 11; then the motor 23 and a fan 24 can be taken out through the inspection hole 11 so that the motor 23 can be easily replaced. |
