<p>The awning (1) has a casing (4) which is fastened to a structural element (3a,3b) near the edge (2a) of an encasing bay (2). The casing contains means for winding the canvas (5) around an axis (7). The canvas free end is equipped with a draw bar (6) extending transversely to the direction of winding and unwinding of the canvas. The retaining system comprises two fastening parts (8a,8b) fixed to and located near the ends of this bar, and two corresponding fixed fasteners (9a,9b) carried by a structure part (3c,3d) near another edge (2b) of the bay. For each pair of corresponding fasteners, one has a support end stop (10a,10b) for the other, opposing re-bending of the canvas, and extending parallel to the extended canvas. This end stop is inclined relative to the winding axis so as to converge with the fastener end stop of the other pair of fasteners.</p> |
