[Also in Divisions A5 and B1] A basin 10 has at least two discharge nozzles 16, 17 positioned so as to produce aerated streams of water which converge to form a fountain for bathing the human eyes or face. Each nozzle 16, 17 is adapted to aerate the water, (see Division B1). The water is supplied under pressure through a screening device or filter 29 to a valve 27, via conduits 26 and 24 and angle key 25 to a pressure equalizer and distributing head 23, and via conduits 21, 22 to the nozzles 16, 17. The valve 27 may be operated by a hand lever, or a foot pedal or by means of a solenoid, which is controlled by a pressure sensitive electric floor mat. The temperature of the water passing the valve 27 may be controlled by mounting automatic control devices on hot and cold water inlets of a mixing chamber through which the water passes before reaching the valve 27.
