PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording sheet excellent in ink absorbability and water resistance. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording sheet obtained by coating a support with an aq. coating compsn. containing polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol and an electron beam curable compd. having two or more radical polymerizable groups and irradiating the coated support with electron beam to form a recording layer, the aq. coating compsn. contains polyvinyl alcohol in an amt. of 5-70wt.% per the total wt. of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and polyvinyl alcohol. |
