PURPOSE:To facilitate developing of a fault diagnostic program and improvement thereof for plant supervisors by developing a fault diagnostic program from the casual relation between diagnostic items and fault items, storing the program thus developed, retrieving the program as requested and executing. CONSTITUTION:A fault diagnostic system 100 is installed in an electric or mechanical room, e.g. a prime mover room, a generator room or a heat source room. An analog signal, a pulse signal and a digital signal are detected, respectively, by an A signal detector 01, a P signal detector 02 and a D signal detector 03 and converted into electric signals. The electric signals are fed, respectively, to an A signal input unit 04, a P signal input unit 05 and a D signal input unit 06 where they are converted into diagnostic data being fed to an operating unit 07. The operating unit 07 reads out a data representative of casual relationship between diagnostic items and fault items from a data input unit 08 and a fault diagnostic program from a program memory unit 12. The program is executed 72 and fuzzy inference is effected and operation results, i.e., fault data, are stored 10 thus developing 071 a fault diagnostic program in non- programming system. |
