PURPOSE:To obtain the subject adhesive, containing a synthetic peptide which contains dopa, alanine and lysine in a specific contents as constituent amino acids, as a bonding component and having excellent adhesion to a silicone rubber, etc., and useful as an adhesive for a living body in a operation, etc., and preventing underwater fouling. CONSTITUTION:This polyamino acid adhesive contains a synthetic peptide comprising amino acids constituting a peptide which contain (A) 11-80mol%, preferably 15-75mol% dopa, (B) 0-90mol%, preferably 10-75mol% alanine and (C) 0-90mol%, preferably 10-50mol% lysine as a bonding component. Furthermore, besides the amino acids, a natural or a nonnatural amino acid may be contained therein. N-(9-Fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl)-beta-(3,4-0,0'-phenylboronylphenyl)-ala nine obtained from the dopa and phenylboronic acid is preferably used as the dopa. |
