PURPOSE:To improve external appearance by closely attaching a head part to a base material and further to attain reduction of a cost and improving workability. CONSTITUTION:In a weather strip, a strip part 1 formed in a surface of a base face 2, head part 3 formed in an end part of the base face 2 and a holding part 4 formed in a reverse surface of the base face 2 are integrally formed by extrusion molding, to provide a gap C of inserting an end part of a base material between the holding part 4 and the head part 3. Thus by inserting the end part of the base material to the gap C to fix the holding part 4 to the base material, in a condition that the head part 3 is brought into close contact with a surface of the base material even without providing an angle in the base material, the weather strip can be mounted, and a number of part items is decreased to reduce a mounting man-hour, also to reduce a working man-hour of the base material by simplifying a mounting shape of the weather strip on the base material, further to provide flexibility in the weather strip, so that mounting workability can be improved. |
