PURPOSE:To enhance finishing precision of a polishing surface by providing a camera for remote confirmation of a polishing state and a rotation detector for detection of rotation speed change of a polishing wheel, and adjusting pressurizing force for pressing the polishing wheel to a polishing surface based on a detection result of the polishing state. CONSTITUTION:In the case of conducting polishing of the pipe interior of a boiler header, while a polishing wheel 13 is housed in a cylindrical tool main body case 10, the case 10 is inserted to a polishing position through an inspection hole of the boiler header. Then, an air motor 16 is operated, the polishing wheel 13, while being rotated, is pressed against the pipe interior via parallel links 8a-8d to polish the pipe interior. During this polishing work, a pressing quantity of the polishing wheel 13 is visually observed by means of an ultrasmall size CCD camera 21 arranged in the rear of the tool main body case 10, and a polishing quantity is confirmed by means of a polishing quantity detector 19. Based on the result, a pressurizing force for pressing the polishing wheel 13 against the pipe interior is adjusted. |
