PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of picking work by decreasing picking work time of a picking device. CONSTITUTION:An article conveying device 5 for carrying out a container 6 wherein loads are arranged after picking work is completed, and for supplying an empty container 8 to a picking device 2 after the picking device 2 provided with a mechanism for gripping a temporary housing container for a picked article on the lower part of a picking arm part self-travels on a ceiling rail 4 is arranged. Moreover, a supplement article conveying device 7 for supplying the supplement container 8 wherein the article is loaded in the article supplementing device 3, and for conveying the emptied supplement container 8 after the article supplementing device 3 for supplementing the article to a storage rack 1 self-travels on the ceiling rail 4 is arranged. |
