<p>PURPOSE:To prevent falling off of an engagingly stopping ring, a flaw in a flexible metal pipe, and the like while a fastening screw is removed in a pipe connecting device which places the flexible metal pipe in connection by driving of the fastening screw by providing an engagingly stopping ring, which is pressed by a cylindrical fastening screw screwed to itself, in the inside of a cylinder part to be connected. CONSTITUTION:A hole part 15 provided with a diameter smaller than that of an internal thread part 14 is formed between a circular recessed part 10 formed in the end part in the inside of the internal thread part 14 in a cylinder part 1 to be connected and the end face part 12, and the end face on the hole part 15 side of the circular recessed part 10 is formed into a taper part 11, while in a fastening screw 2, following an external thread part 22 screwed to the internal thread part 14, a cylinder part 23 just fitted in the hole part 15 is formed so as to store a plate engagingly stopping ring 3 partially having an opened part into the inside of the hole part 15, while the inner circumference diameter of the ring 3 is set so that the inner circumference part of the ring 3 is fitted into the inside of a root part of a flexible metal pipe 4 when it is put into the inside of the hole part 15 and also the opened part is closed.</p> |
