PURPOSE:To enable an equal assignment in various patterns such as the equal assignment of an arbitrary range or an equal assignment including a space. CONSTITUTION:An input editing processing part 2 for preparing and editing document data 3 is provided with a start point designating processing means 4 for inserting the control code of assignment start before the character code of document data 3 corresponding to a character designated from an input part 1 as an equal assignment start point position and an end point designating processing means 5 for inserting the control code of assignment end before a character code designated as an end point position, and an output editing processing part 7 for outputting the document data 3 to a printer 6 is provided with a start point position search means 8 for detecting the start point position from the control code by retrieving forward the document data 3, end point position search means 9 for detecting the end point position, equal assignment object deciding means 10 for deciding the first character code as the end position of the equal assignment object range by retrieving backward the data from the end point position, and equal assignment editing processing means 11 for editing an output image. |
