PURPOSE:To form emboss pockets by cold working, make the emboss pockets strong and work the bottom surface of the emboss pocket easily into depressed and raised contours, etc. CONSTITUTION:A carrier tape 11 is provided with a large number of emboss pockets 12 for storing electronic parts and a large number of pilot holes 13 formed on one side of the carrier tape 11 for introducing the carrier tape 11 into an automatic electronic part mounting machine. As the material of the carrier tape 11 is used noncrystalline polyethylene terephthalate resin, which has the emboss pockets 12 formed therein by undergoing drawing through cold multiplaten press. |
