PURPOSE:To provide a device for increasing propulsion force in the start of a vehicle which uses one of the two rear axles as a drive axle CONSTITUTION:A vehicle 1A has a drive axle 200 and driven axle 300 which are supported to a frame 10 through a trunnion type suspension. The start assisting device provided on the top of the drive axle 200 has an air spring 505, and the piston of the air sprang is firmly stuck to the top of the housing 210 of the drive axle 200 through a bracket. The top including the diaphragm of the air spring is supported by a bracket 560, which is stuck to the frame 10 through a mounting member 570. When the vehicle starts, the air spring 505 is activated to increase the ground contact pressure, thereby increasing propulsion force. |
