摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently define instructions and diversify the function of the instructions, and to improve the throughput at the same time by reading different kinds of instruction so that they can be executed basically successively with one clock. CONSTITUTION:This electronic computer consists of an instruction storage device #102, an instruction read-in device #103, a control circuit #104, an attribute register which specifies the operation mode of a basic instruction, and an instruction size determining circuit #105 which combines and executes the basic instruction and an attribute instruction in real time. The instruction storage device #102 has the size of maximum instruction width (bit length: M) which is a multiple of the basic instruction width (bit length: K), and instructions which differ in size when arranged in the instruction storage device #102 are continuously stored taking the basic instruction width as unit. Further, the instruction read device #102 is of a minimum constitution and composed of an (M*3-K)-bit shift register structure on the whole. And, different kinds of instructions are read in so that they can be executed basically successively with one clock.</p>
