PURPOSE:To provide a controller for induction motor by which the output torque of an induction motor can be controlled accurately with high response. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving a torque command and a flux density command, a three-phase/two-phase converting means detects DC quantities of exciting current id and torque current iq in a motor 15 from the instantaneous values iu, iv, iw of motor current and the detected currents are feedback controlled independently. In such controller for induction motor, a good control where the influence of nonlinear elements in a power converter, e.g. an inverter, for driving a motor is eliminated is realized by amplifying the error between the command value iu*, iv*, iw* and the instantaneous value iu, iv, iw of motor current. |
