PURPOSE:To provide a mechanism which easily connects an auto handler with a test head and accurately brings an IC into contact with an IC socket. CONSTITUTION:A suction hand is constituted of a supporting body 1, a vibrating body 2, a free body 3, a connecting body 4 and a pressing body 5. The pressing body 5 is held in a floating state. The pressing body 5 is constituted of a suction pad 5A and a pressing element 5B in one unit by a guide pin 5C. The suction hand descends to an IC socket 21 while sucking an IC 11 by means of the suction pad 5A. When the guide pin 5C enters a guide 22, the IC 11 is correctly registered with the IC socket, and the pressing element 5B presses a lead of the IC 11 to bring it into contact with a contact element of the IC socket. |
