PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a required absorber only by performing paper making and heating treatment once by forming the absorber from a specified absorbing layer containing cellulose pulp as an essential component, and a specified surface layer consisting of a skin layer mainly containing synthetic pulp. CONSTITUTION:An absorber used as a disposable diaper, sanitary napkin, medical sponge, or hurt pad has a surface layer at least on one surface of an absorbing layer. The surface layer is formed of a liquid permeable skin layer having a weighing capacity of 0.1-100g/m<2> and consisting of 100-50wt.% of synthetic pulp, 0-50wt.% of cellulose pulp, and 0-40wt.% of synthetic fiber. The absorbing layer is obtained by thermally treating a mixture of 10-70wt.% of cellulose pulp, 5-60wt.% of flexible type synthetic fiber, or three-dimensional crimped type or side-by-side type composite fiber, and 5-50wt.% of thermally fusing type binder fiber, and the weighing capacity of the absorbing layer is set larger than that of the surface layer. |
