<p>PURPOSE: To optimumly control an output of a driving device also during switching of a lockup clutch by constituting torque of a driving engine to be adjusted by a method for substantially maintaining a required output torque value during a switching procedure of a torque converter. CONSTITUTION: A driving device 8 includes an engine 10 and the output shaft 12 is connected to a torque converter device 14 constituted by connecting a torque converter 18 of an automatic gear box 16 to a lockup clutch 20 in parallel. An output shaft 22 of the torque converter device 14 is connected to a gear box device 24. In this lockup clutch 20, required output torque determined in according with an operation position of an operation element 48 obtained by a position pickup 46 is controlled by initial value and final value of clutch pressure determined by performing a correction by a rotational speed ratio and a coefficient of friction determined as a function of a rotational speed difference of engine rotational speed and a turbine rotational speed by a control device 28.</p> |
