PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle outside seal lip of thin wall from separating along a boundary with a die forming part and further to prevent a seal property from worsening relating to a window glass in the vicinity of the boundary. CONSTITUTION:A glass run 1, forming the section in almost U shape, has a vehicle outside leg part 4 and a vehicle outside seal lip 6. A die forming part 2 is die formed in almost the same sectional shape to the glass run 1, but a side wall part in a vehicle outside is molded into a large thickness shape integrally forming a part corresponding to the leg part 4 and a part corresponding to the seal lip 6. In the vicinity of a boundary 10 between both the parts, a recessed groove part 26 is formed in an external surface in the vehicle outside by a protrusive streak provided in a metal mold. The vehicle outside leg part 4 in the end of the glass run 1 is pressed by the protrusive streak, swollen, deformed to the inside of the glass run 1 and integrally formed with the seal lip 6. An end part of the die forming part 2 is molded so as to be along external shapes of this deformed leg part 4 and the seal lip 6. |
