PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material excellent in heat-resistant preservability and humidity-resistant preservability and excellent in sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal color forming layer containing at least one kind of a colorless or light-colored electron donating color forming dye precursor and an electron acceptive coupling compd. reacting with the dye precursor under heating to develop a color is provided on at least one surface of a support, at least one kind of the coupling compd. selected from 1,3-di[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-propyl]benzene, 1,4-di[4- hydroxyphenyl)-2-propyl]benzene and 4,4'-(1-phenylethylidene)bisphenol, di-p- methylbenzyl oxalate and di-p-chlorobenzyl oxalate are added to the thermal color forming layer. |
