PURPOSE:To provide an image-forming device without causing image deterioration by making the proportion of an added agent to toner in recovered developer almost constant in the use of the recovered developer. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with a developing means 5 for developing an image with developer, a cleaning means 7 for recovering the developer remaining on an image carrier 2 after the formation of the image, a supply means for supplying the developer recovered by the cleaning means 7 to the developing means 5, a mixing means for mixing untransfer developer with the developer recovered by the cleaning means 7, an image proportion detection means for detecting the proportion of the image formed by the developing means 5, and a control means which, according to the detection result of the image proportion detection means, controls an amount of the untransferred developer mixed by the mixing means, so as to obtain the almost constant proportion of the added agent in the developer in which the recovered developer and the untransferred developer are mixed. |
