PURPOSE:To obtain a laser oscillation apparatus which reduces a loss when excitation light is incident or radiated with reference to a laser medium rod, whose laser oscillation efficiency is enhanced, which is miniaturized as a whole and which enhances the setting accuracy of the incident part of the excitation light. CONSTITUTION:The laser oscillation apparatus is provided with a laser medium rod 1 which has a cylindrical surface or a conical surface, with a light-reflecting film 2 which is arranged on the cylindrical surface of the laser medium rod in a close contact state and with an excitation-light transmission part 3 in which excitation light B arranged at one end part of the laser medium rod is taken into the inside. The excitation light which is incident on the laser medium rod is reflected repeatedly without being radiated to the outside.
