<p>PURPOSE: To effectively eliminate the multipath signal by collecting the data of an interferometer having amplitude of a complex number signal to be emitted from an emitter at plurality of emitter angles to the interferometer. CONSTITUTION: An interference system 20 comprises an array 22 composed of a plurality of antenna elements, a local oscillator 26, an LPF 27, an A/D converter 28, and a signal processing device 24. The data of an interferometer including the amplitude of the signal of complex number to be emitted from an emitter at a plurality of emitter angles to the array 22 of the interferometer are collected. The amplitude of the signal of complex number is processed by maximizing a predetermined logarithmic likelihood function corresponding to the natural logarithm of a predetermined maximum likelihood function. The emitter angle to maximize the logarithmic likelihood function is selected as the actual emitter angle. The processing method can be applied to eliminate the radome reflection of an antenna having an extremely small radar cross section.</p> |
