PURPOSE:To provide an insurance business processing system which performs the systematic computer processing up to application cation generation and insurance policy issuing in the insurance business. CONSTITUTION:This insurance business processing system is provided with a host computer 11 and a portable terminal equipment 12 and excludes the use of paper except sealing on the application. The host computer 11 is installed in a business center to not only store (canvassing materials, premium rates, other required data, and data required for execution of the insurance business like a format but also execute the management of the insurance contract business, policy issue, etc., and the portable terminal equipment 12 is capable of data up-load to and down-load from the host computer 11 and executes presentation of materials to insurance contractors, input of personal data and vehicle data for contract application generation, generation of the application, etc. Especially, this system is provided for the insurance business of automobile physical damage insurance, and it is so constituted that a card whose electronic information processing is possible can be issued instead of or additionally to the policy issued after the end of contract of the insurance business. |
