PURPOSE:To allow a driver to control an electric car with ease by a method wherein the revolution of a motor is so controlled as to have both the revolutions of a pair of the rotary members of a speed varying stage changer which are linked with each other when a next turn gear stage is achieved identical in accordance with the next-turn gear stage and the detected speed of an electric car. CONSTITUTION:A shift controller (motor revolution synchronous control means) 84 controls the revolution of a motor 12 so as to have both the revolutions of a pair of the rotary members of a speed varying stage changer (-synchronous gear apparatus) 50 which are linked with each other when a next turn gear stage which is determined by the shift controller 84 is achieved identical in accordance with the next turn gear stage and the speed Nout of an electric car which is detected by a car speed sensor 88. With this constitution, a delay time when the next turn gear stage is achieved after a shift lever is shifted from a neutral position to a running position can be reduced regardless of the selection of the next turn gear stage, so that a driver can control the car with ease. |
