摘要 PURPOSE:To attach a throttle sensor securely by adjusting the attaching position of the throttle sensor to a position for outputting an electric signal correspond ing to a reference ignition timing with a throttle valve kept in its full closing state and adjusting the ignition timing for the full closing state of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:An electron control device 1 is set in an adjusting mode and a throttle valve 2 is kept in a fully closing state when a attaching position of a throttle sensor 3 is adjusted. Then, the attaching position of the throttle sensor 3 is changed with the throttle sensor 3 and the throttle valve 2 bonded together. At this time, variation of the ignition timing is monitored by visual observation, etc., of a timing mark like a normal ignition timing adjustment. Thereby, the throttle sensor 3 can be correctly adjusted at the ignition timing in a state the throttle valve 2 is fully closed even if the throttle sensor 3 is basically dislocated to either of a positive direction or a negative direction from a reference position.
