发明名称 POWER CONVERTER FOR ELECTRIC RAILWAY SUBSTATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To raise the utility of converter by obtaining D.C. output in conjunction with exclusive power rectifier by making power rectifying operation by switching D.C. side connection of thyristor conveter to return vehicle regenerative D.C. power into A.C. power source. CONSTITUTION:The D.C. side of the exclusive power rectifier 1 which makes only D.C. power supply is connected through the switches 9 and 10 to the D.C. side of the thyristor converter 2 whicy returns regenerative D.C. power to the A.C. power source 8, and furthermore the current trnaformers 11 and 15 are connected to the integrating circuits 12 and 16 to compare with each of the reference setters 13 and 17 and to switch the switches 9 and 10 through the switching command circuit 19. Thus, during rush hours in which the amount of power is great, the thyristor converter 2 is operated as a power rectifier and also regenerative operation is worked when the amount of regenerative power is great to fit in with the peculiarity of electric railway load, thus ensuring the enhanced utility of converter.
