PURPOSE:To provide a work support device of which defects in structure are improved and workability is excellent. CONSTITUTION:A work holder 5 is fixed to a tip of a swing arm 3, which is turnably supported relative to a bracket 7 on a machine bed 2 by a turning shaft 6 and also connected to a rotation drive means 4. The swing arm 3 is movably supported between a cutting position by a wire 14 in a cover 12 on the machine bed 2 and an attaching/detaching position of a work 15 by the rotation drive means 4.
