PURPOSE:To decrease the volume of a waste washing liquid and to improve a water washing effect by consisting a washing water supplying means of a supplying means by a slit, a supplying means by rollers, supplying means by sprays, supplying means for passing a photosensitive material into the slit filled with the washing water or supplying means by brushes. CONSTITUTION:The washing water is supplied from the slit 23 formed of two sheets of sheets 21, 22 to the upper surface of the photosensitive material in a washing section B1. The slit 23 is formed by two sheets of the rectangular flexible sheets which are hung in proximity to each other at the width to cover the transporting width of the photosensitive material. The upper part between two sheets of the sheets 21 and 22 is provided with a pipe 24 provided with plural small openings for supplying the washing water. On the other hand, the washing water adhering to the surface of a rotating roller 26 for washing which is immersed in the lower part into the washing water in the water tank 25 is supplied to the lower surface of the photosensitive material.
