PURPOSE:To provide an epoch-making storage device having a long charge/ discharge cycle life in which the utilization rate of stored energy can be increased ideally up to 100% by taking advantage of the characteristics of electric double layer capacitor to the maximum while grasping the residual capacity easily. CONSTITUTION:An electric double layer capacitor 1 for storing the electric energy and means 4 for controlling the output terminal voltage to a constant level based on a terminal voltage signal of the electric double layer capacitor 1 are connected between the output terminals. Power is fed to a load while controlling the terminal voltage of the electric double layer capacitor 1 to a constant level through the voltage control means 4. |
