Date Aug. 31, 1995A device for applying a liquid product, in particular paint, includes an applicator with at least one roller, a supply unit with a variable speed, volumetric pump, and a duct connecting the pump to the applicator. The pump is connected to a control unit. A detector detects a speed of the roller and provides a control signal corresponding to the speed to the control unit. The control unit includes a regulator for setting a linear relationship between the speed of the pump and the speed of the roller. The control unit controls the liquid product flow rate supplied by the pump based upon the control signal and the linear relationship set by the regulator. |
