LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MODULE

A description is given of a liquid crystal display module, having a liquid crystal display element (10), which is arranged over a support (20, 20') in the form of a plate and exhibiting a printed circuit (24). Multiple conductor elements (40) of an elastomeric design electrically connect mutually facing rows of electrical contact areas on the support and on the display element to one another. Furthermore, connecting means are provided in order to hold the support and the display element together mechanically. The base outline dimensions of the support are not greater than those of the display element arranged in congruence with the latter and an adhesive substance is exclusively provided as the connecting means.
