The wt. application system involves a balance wt. (9) for correcting the wheel (14) out of balance, which is held by a flexible yielding holding part (6,7) of a holding unit, elastically holding the wt. in a pressing-on direction (16) against the wheel. The weight is orientated at the pressing-on process, for matching the inclination of the wt. at the balancing location, w.r.t. to the wheel axis (15). The holding unit has at least two holding elements (4,5;6,7) having axial spacing between each other in the direction of the wheel axis (15), between which the balance wt. is held, during application at the balancing location. One holding element is designed as a part flexible against the direction of the pressure.
