Thin film type photovoltaic cell

摘要

A low cost, good performance photovoltaic cell has a thin film structure formed by a support of e.g. glass bearing a SnO2 layer applied by e.g. spray deposition and then a CuInSe2 or Cu(IN,Ga)Se2 layer of a few microns thickness applied by short distance chemical transport using iodine, the photovoltaic effect created having positive polarity at the SnO2 side.
