The garment (3), esp. for a child, incorporates a component (2) which gives off a sound when pressed. The component can be in the form of a hand- or machine-embroidered design or a plastic badge. It can depict, for example, an animal, scene, a car or a person, and gives out a sound corresp. to the picture when pressed. As an example, the design could be a picture of the Eiffel Tower, and the sound could be of a well-known Parisian song.
