Process for making temporary ice rink for ice skating competitions or car rallies using snow, water and liq. nitrogen

The process involves laying down an initial layer of snow or ice flakes. The first coat is then compacted using a roller, giving a layer which is between 2 and 10 centimetres thick. This compacted layer is then dampened with water using a hose or a sprinkling machine with at least one row of sprinklers. Liquid nitrogen is then spread over the surface by a machine with one or more rows of parallel injection nozzles. Extra layers can be added after compaction or after the compacted surface has been dampened.
