The plastic case (1) supports, over a drip-tray (5), a dispensing head carrying a removable filter (6) containing ground coffee. The main switch (8) controls a pump and a heater supplying, from a reservoir (7), pressurised hot water or steam, both to the filter and to a spring-loaded valve controlling spray nozzles (28) in a domed pressure-plate (30) above the dispenser. The user first inverts a cup, guided by four protuberances (31), over the nozzles. Downward pressure opens the valve, and, via a micro-switch, energises the pump. The resulting spray heats the cup interior, then drains to the reservoir. The heated cup is filled at the dispenser, while a return spring resets the spray unit.
