The plastics hanger comprises a central tubular body (1) with a suspension hook (3) and two elastic clamp supports (12) able to engage in and support the clothing. Each support is connected to the body by a movable arm (4) which can be engaged telescopically in the body. A connector joins the two movable arms so that displacement of one causes an equal and opposite displacement of the other. The movable arms have an integral appendage, obtained during the plastic injection stage, which engages elastically in one or several housings (10) in the body. The connector comprises a pinion placed between the two movable arms which engages in corresponding teeth on the arms. Each arm has several clothing attachment parts (11). The lower end of each claw (13) of the clamps is made from a rectangular plate (14) covered on the inside and outside with two layers of anti-slip PVC.
