The retraining appts. for a hemiplegic patient includes a corset (1) to be worn by the patient, pref. formed in upper and lower halves (1a, 1c). Attached to the corset is an upright post (2) which follows the line of the patient's spine, ending in a forward pointing probe which extends over the patient's head. The probe is connected to one terminal (4a) of a battery (4), with the other battery terminal (4b) being connected to a display panel (3). The display panel includes a series of shapes and patterns which the patient is required to follow. The screen is also connected to a console (5) where an operator may control the exercise and activity provided for the patient.
