The litter bin, for location at pedestrian footways, has a weather resistant body in an upright, rectangular, and prismatic structure. An access odour is at the leading side, opening to the interior with a container in a swing mounting on two half-axes as part of it. This allows it to swing by 90 deg. outwards when two facing rotating flanges are disengaged. The door has a frame with an advertising board between the frame and a plate, covered by a protective silicon transparent plastics to hold it to the frame together with the holding flanges which secure the plate and board. Three openings are at the body, over the door with the advertising, with one at the leading side and the others at the end sides, for access to a horizontal top opening to the inner container. The rear wall of the body has a plate to carry an advertising panel under an outer transparent plastics sheet.
