Crankshaft oscillation damper for IC engine

The device comprises an mass executing limited torsion movement to the crankshaft of the engine. The mass is fitted at one end of the crankshaft and the drive of a tractive gear occurs from the mass. Between the crankshaft (2) and the mass (13) a belt driven free-wheel (8) is inserted, thus forming a free-wheel eradicator (1). One end of the free run locates on the crankshaft and a further end is position-fixed on the mass or a reversed location of the ends of the free-wheel can be envisaged.
