Rods (1) are mfd. in different lengths to build frames in various shapes. Rods with one or more grooves at one end fit in ledged ends of another rod. The rod-ends have holes for a shaft (2) to form a hinge in the groove/ledge area between rods. Grooves and ledges are designed to enable connected rods to be in one plane. Frames lying above each other can be fixed together by appropriate shafts. The different length of the rods and the hinged connection do not restrict the frames to rectangular shape. The grooved and ledged rod-ends are rounded off for twisting purposes and an attractive appearance. The design allows easy and flexible assembly.
