In an air intake filter with an annular filter element, an open-bottom outer casing, a connection for fixing to a tank and an oil collection trough, the novelty is that an annular circumferential baffle plate (8) is fixed to the inside face of the casing (2) to direct condensed oil into the collection trough (3). Pref. the baffle plate (8) is made of plastics and is adhesively bonded or welded to the collection trough (3).
