The writing or marking tip has its front section (12) made with a grip element (14), which is used both for gripping the pen and for taking the tip out of the pen. This element may be of the same material as the tip, and may fit in a tip casing element (22). The grip element may be in the form of a groove (18) running the tip, or in the form of a projecting rib. The grip may also be in the form of recesses shaped to fit the fingertips, located diametrically opposite each other.
