Voice signal processor with amplification control

The processor (DSP) amplification control (AGC) amplifies the speech signal(s) level by an amplifying factor (a) changing according to a characteristic line (CHR). To the amplification control is coupled a control circuit (VA1) detecting speech interval (TN1-3) in the speech signal. During each speech interval the amplification control is to regulated by the circuit that the amplification factor does not exceed a presettable max. value. Pref. the max. value corresponds to the last adjusted amplification factor at the beginning of each speech interval.
