a water level sensor having a Colpitts oscillator at which a frequency is varied in accordance with a variation value of a coil and having a Schmitt trigger for producing the output frequency from the Colpitts oscillator as an accurate sphere wave; a microcomputer for determining a water level and whether a washing motor is driven by receiving the square wave from the water level sensor and upon the driving of washing motor, for determining whether the washing motor is normally operated according to an amount of variation of the output frequency of the water level sensor; and a washing motor driver for driving the washing motor in accordance with an output control signal from the microcomputer.
