Meso-porous molecular sieves, produced from anionic surfactants and iso-poly- or heteropoly-cations of metal oxides of Gp. IIIa, IIB, IIIB, IVb, Vb, VIb and VIIb elements, Be, Sn,Pb, Bi,Cu, Fe, Co, Ni, Ce, Th and U, are new. Pref. mixts. of anionic surfactants and polycations are crystallised pref. in aq. systems at 20-250 (pref. 50-150, esp. 70-120) degrees C. and 0.01-50 (pref. 0.1-5, esp. 0.4-3) bars pressure. The metals, used in the iso-poly- or heteropoly- cations of the metal oxides, are pref. Be, B, Al, Ga, In, Sn, Pb, Bi, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, Hg and Ce. The anionic surfactants are pref. cpds. of formula R-X, where X = COO<->Y<+>, OSO3<->Y<+>, SO3<->Y<+>, OPO3<->Y<+>, PO3<->Y<+>, COOH, SO4, SO3, PO4 or PO3, Y = Gp. Ia element, R = R<1> (CH2)nR<2> or CHR<3>R<4>, R<1> = 6-60C alkyl, R<2> = NR<5>COR<1>, NR<5>SO2CHR<1>R<1>, OR<1>, SR<1>, SO2R<1>, OOCR<1>, 7-60C alkylaryl or 7-60C alkylaryloxy R<3>, R<4> = independently 6-60C alkyl, COOR<1> or CH2-COOR<1>, and R<5> = H or 1-4C alkyl. |
